If it is not enough that our brains directs us to take note of change, the mere act of switching our attention spans to some change feels good. A lot of change occurs in our brain when we multi-task.

When we multi-task, our focus is being taken off of one thing and directed to another. We get an emotional high when we multi-task.

The downfall is that when we multi-task our focus is not too high on any one task.

The constant changes as we switch to each task that demands our attention causes us to misspell words and make other mistakes. Also, some phone calls and been addicted to social media will affect your ability to concentrate at work.

One way to become more focused on the task at hand is to…

Go against our natural inclination to start our day with the more manageable tasks and then work our way up to the more challenging tasks

It is more productive to do the more challenging tasks like creative work day or work that requires concentration in the morning while your energy is high and your ability to focus is stronger. 

Move onto the less challenging task like deleting email messages later on in the day once your energy is spent.

Schedule the toughest tasks during the times and places where you are most able to concentrate

The average human being only has moments of deep focus for six hours a week. most people do their best thinking outside the office setting. To make the most of these six hours your goal should be to figure out when and where you do your best thinking and schedule your toughest tasks.

Limit the amount of time that you spend multi-tasking

When we do more than one task at a time, we train our brains not to focus because we have taken hold on to the habit of distractions.

As an entrepreneur, you have a lot going on, sometimes all at once, that you need to attend to. The constant needs that arise that require your attention making it hard to stay focused on one thing and pay attention to the present moment.

How will your colleagues focus on work? It seems they can do a lot more in one day than you do. Why do you care?

One of the main reasons is to distract your belongings. l find when one manage the time well then he or she will work well and have a more relaxed time while working.

Turn them off and see how your concentration improves. If you need, take time from the day to do so.

Small small tasks you think you can put off and come back later? Time has a strange way to catch up. There will always be a fire put down. Big or small, they will steal time from you to perform small tasks. For example, if someone comes in an email to request your answer, answer and put it away.

Take a short break of about 20 minutes a day after and every task before jumping to the other. The restrooms let you stretch a little and energize your mind, which means it’s best to focus.

Work early

Many have sworn at this, and have refined my skills, or instead to do so. I recommend it; when you work early, clarify a lot before things begin and the unrest begins. This is the time to scan emails, make coffee or go to a coffee shop and read an online newspaper. So take the best time to do these things.

Do it now

Do not wait or justify yourself. After a while, you can get good excuses, pay everyone and pay. How can you continue to focus when there are always things that bother you? Try it – start with some things you gave yourself an excuse. When you clear your mind of debris, you are focusing better on your work day.

Stop chats on the store and cigarette routes

Be very careful if you read this as a manager and want to implement it to improve performance. Handle this situation. I got a lot of criticism for this before. If you are not prepared and do not know how – do it with caution

But if you read this as an employee, you want improvement. Watch out for yourself. How long do you take breaks? How long can you stay in the store? Or do you have a smoke break? Cut it and see how you can focus.
